Privacy in The App

For information about accounts, prayer data, and other features in Evangely, read the Privacy Policy for The App. Website analytics do not access your app account, prayers, contacts, or church information.

Information needed to run the website

Our hosting provider processes technical information, such as IP addresses and requests, to deliver and protect the website. If you contact us by email, we use the information you send to respond to your request.

Optional website analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand website visits, pages viewed, traffic sources, device and browser information, and clicks on App Store and Google Play links. Store clicks indicate interest in downloading; they do not confirm an installation. Analytics reports are kept separate from analytics for our iOS and Android apps.

The Google Analytics tag loads only after you select Accept. If you select Decline, or have not made a choice, we do not load it or send website analytics events. We do not send app account identifiers, prayer content, or contact information to website analytics. Our tag disables advertising signals and ad personalization.

Cookies and your choice

You can use this website and its download links without accepting analytics. We store a necessary preference cookie to remember either choice. If you accept, Google Analytics also uses first-party cookies to distinguish visits and sessions.

Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice at any time. Declining stops future collection and removes our website analytics cookies. It does not automatically delete information previously sent to Google.

Google and retention

Google processes analytics information on our behalf. Analytics records are subject to the retention settings of our website property; cookie expiration and report retention are different. Google may process information in countries other than your own.
